EDGEFIELD – Miss Martha “Mot” Curry entered into rest June 25, 2016 at the Ridge Rehab & Health Care Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Miss Curry a native of Edgefield County was a 1967 graduate of W. E. Parker High School and a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a dedicated niece and nephew, Pamela Wilford-Ponder and Marty Wilford of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Henry Curry of Trenton, SC; three sisters, Carrie B. Butler of Augusta, GA; Alice Dobey and Hattie Simpkins of Edgefield, SC; a brother-in-law, Henry Stringer of Augusta, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
