Mary Louise Dorn Hammond, 96, of Garrett Road, wife of the late Billy Hammond, died Tuesday November 29, 2016.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday December 1, 2016 at 3 PM at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammond was born in Edgefield County. She was a retired school teacher, and a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was the pianist and organist for 63 years.

Survivors include 3 sons; Fred (Michelle) Hammond, Marvin (Jean) Hammond, and Ted (Ginny) Hammond; 8 grandchildren; Marc Hammond, Bill Hammond, Cody Hammond, Brandi Beasley, Brooke Duncan, Dayle Hammond, Michael Hammond, and Emily Alsdorf; and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Tony Hammond.

The family will receive friends Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
