On Wednesday, May 9, the Strom Thurmond High Rebels lost to Palmetto High for the second time in the Upper State Baseball  play-offs by a score of 3-2.  The Rebels scored in the first and third innings, with both runs by Zach Green, to lead 2-0, but Palmetto tied in the fifth inning and won with an eighth-inning walk-off. The Rebels sadly go home for the season, while the Palmetto Mustangs play  Gilbert High Friday night.
