Burrel Thomas Boatwright

JOHNSTON, S.C. – Mr. Burrel Thomas Boatwright, 62, of Johnston, husband of Lalla Greneker Boatwright, died Tuesday.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday June 24, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Mt. of Olives Cemetery in Johnston, S.C. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Boatwright was a native of Johnston and a member of The Johnston United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Jackie Bonnoitt Boatwright.

He was retired from the Unites State Navy.

Survivors include his wife, 1 Daughter- Harriet Boatwright; 1 Brother- Benjamin Boatwright, Jr.; 1 Sister- Laura Bonnoitt Boatwright.

Memorials may be made to the Johnston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 186 Johnston, S.C. 29832 or to the charity of one’s choice.

    I can’t believe that Burrell is gone. We sure missed him when he left Mt. Pleasant. Will keep the family in our prayers. He will be missed.
