From the Editor:
Just a forewarning of some changes in the newspaper. We will be announcing a new writer as an “old” favorite ends. The “old” favorite is the Piper Tales, written by Penny Hunt and edited by her husband Bill (keep “money” in mind and you will remember their names, first names that is). How fortunate the young people in our readership have been as they were able to have an ongoing story, well written (exemplary English), and so exciting.
A new writer is on the forefront. You will hear next week who he is and what his story is about, and he will appeal to a different readership, more adult. It has been our wish to continue to offer new writers each year to keep our paper representative and always with new energies expressed through the written word.
Be sure not to miss a thing and pick up your copy of the print edition each week at local convenience store, or subscribe today to have your copy delivered to your mail box.
