Alvin Stevens and I were related by blood, and even if we were not, I would have admired him. He was industrious and he was a role model without being aware of it. Cousin Alvin was wonderful, he gave back to his community and his family, and I think he was taken way too soon. He will be missed, but he will be remembered for being the role model that he was without even trying to be a role model; he just lived his life. We will miss him dearly.

Thank you for the memories, your time, and thank you for being in our lives when we needed you the most.

Cousins Alesia, Alvin, III, Angela, Ann, and Anita, we thank you from the depths of our hearts for sharing Cousin Alvin, Jr., with us. May GOD give all of you the strength needed to recover from your loss.

With loving memories and heartfelt condolences,
