Carolyn Walker Holson, 80, wife of the late John W. Holson, died Tuesday April 5, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Edgefield First Baptist Church with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Edgefield following the church service.

Mrs. Holson was born in Abbeville, SC and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Murphy Walker. She was a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church and had retired from Salem Carpets & Consolidated Yarn as a Purchasing Administrator.

Survivors include 1 son, Hugh (Patricia) Holson of Boca Raton, FL and 1 daughter, Marie Holson (Bill) Stinger of McLean, VA; 2 grandchildren, Brittany and Cole Stinger. She was predeceased by a brother Robert H. Walker of Martinez, Ga.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 AM before the service at Edgefield First Baptist Church.
