Edgefield County Council issued a resolution June 7 recognizing the accomplishments and works of W. Thurmond Burnett. Burnett served Edgefield County for 47 years as Coroner. Date: June 6, 2018 Clemson alumnus Kevin Yon has been named the South Carolina state winner of the Swisher Sweets/Sunbelt Expo Southeastern Farmer of the Year award. He joins nine other individual winners as finalists for the overall award that will be announced in October at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia.

The Town of Trenton plans to unveil its new mural Wednesday, June 13, at 5:30, thirty minutes prior to the town’s monthly Council meeting. The public is invited to the square to see the unveiling of this 12×24 mural painted by Beth Clark. Light refreshments will be served.
